Bio
Dr. Maddox grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico and earned his medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where he was inspired by doctors who lived in the same community as their patients. Dr. Maddox has remained in Massachusetts since completing residency at Tufts Medical Center. In 2019 he joined Pentucket Medical in Haverhill, where he lives, along with his wife, who graduated from Haverhill High School. He is committed to students’ academic and social-emotional success and has served as School Physician for Haverhill Public Schools since 2012. Dr. Maddox is also a co-founder of Haverhill Promise: an organization committed to helping every child in Haverhill read well by third grade.
Dr. Maddox enjoys shepherding the health and wellness of the next generation of Hillies, as well as those from other communities. His favorite hobbies are reading good books, beach walks with his wife, golf with his son, and time with family and friends.
